Arabic transcription: what to expect
- The transcript is written right-to-left in Arabic script.
- Modern Standard Arabic — used in news, lectures, sermons and formal meetings — gives the most consistent results. Strong regional dialects may be less accurate.
- Translation is produced per sentence so it reads naturally in the target language.
Popular uses

Frequently asked questions
Are Arabic dialects supported?
The Arabic option is optimised for Modern Standard Arabic. Dialectal speech often works but may be less accurate, especially Maghrebi dialects.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get 10 free minutes after signing in with Google — no credit card. Transcription uses credits at 1× and translation at 2×, so that is up to 10 minutes of transcription or 5 minutes of translation. Paid plans start at $9.9/month.
